architect / founder of BUŁA STUDIO
I graduated in architecture from Poznań University of Technology. I gained experience at studios in Poznań and Warsaw, working on smaller interior projects as well as single-family houses, multi-family buildings and offices.
I begin each design with the place itself — its proportions, light, surroundings and everything already present. Rather than confining an interior to one predetermined style, I look for the right combinations of materials, textures and colours. I also enjoy introducing vintage pieces — objects with a history that soften an overly perfect whole and give it a more personal character.
In my free time, I like to step away from the computer and return to analogue work. I enjoy making things by hand and experimenting with form and material — this kind of practice gives me a freedom no software can replace.
